Freedoms Foundation Is Accepting Nominations For Their National Awards

The Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge promotes the ideals and principles of our free society and encourages all Americans to embrace both their rights and their responsibilities and to contribute to the common good of society.

National Awards
These awards recognize the exceptional efforts of organizations, individuals, schools, communities, and corporations whose projects, words, or deeds reflect the best of the American spirit of volunteerism by offering constructive solutions to contemporary problems. Recipients receive the George Washington Honor Medal.

Categories include:

• community: adult and youth;
• school: elementary through college/university;
• educator: elementary through college/university;
• public communications;
• special events;
• youth essay; and,
• military essay: adult and youth.
