Addressing the Linkages Between Energy, Housing and Home Repair

Investments in existing homes across our State can be viewed as one of many solutions to addressing the need for quality, affordable housing. Join us for a discussion focused on how philanthropy can help those with limited resources to make repairs to their homes, improve energy efficiencies, and perhaps access homes that need repair and could be potential places of occupancy for those seeking housing. 

We will hear from representatives from Energize Delaware, Roofs from the Heart, Habitat from Humanity, Good Neighbors Home Repair and Members who have funded certain aspects of this issue.

Invited Guest Panelists representing nonprofit organizations who are focused on helping those who have few ​or no resources to make repairs to their home (e.g., fixing a leaking roof or replacing a worn-out furnace, become more energy efficient or access resources to do so include:
