Society of Women Environmental Professionals (SWEP) of Greater Philadelphia Grant

Grants of up to $4,500 to Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania organizations and programs in eligible regions for environmental stewardship activities. Funding is intended for proposals that promote the involvement of women and girls in the fields of science, engineering, and environment. To be eligible for a grant, applicants and projects must be located within the Greater Philadelphia Area, which includes southeastern Pennsylvania, northern Delaware, and Southern New Jersey.

Each year, as part of SWEP's mission to encourage and promote leadership, achievement and the professional development of women in the environmental field, SWEP presents small grants to help fund organizations or programs that creatively address a locally-defined need to create, enhance, restore, or protect the natural environment. SWEP also supports projects that provide environmental awareness through educational sessions, with particular emphasis on encouraging girls and/or women in the sciences, engineering, or environmental fields.
